Have a look at Yesil Dalyan's website. They run the ferry between Fethiye and Rhodes and the times and prices are on there.

.can you get a coach or bus to Rhodes..
No it would sink ;)
The port & the airport are on opposite sides of Rhodes Town, I wouldn't know how much a taxi would be. I've seen an airport bus at the bus station in Rhodes Town, which is probably a mile or so from the port. Again I don't know the frequency or cost, but taking other journeys on Rhodes buses as a yardstick, it's likely not more than 10 euros.

The price for the bus journey from the port to the airport in 2014 was 2.20Euros

Ha i did wonder if Rohdana was an island lol! That is great thank you KKOB and Liz for replies...does going to Rhodes count as leaving Turkey if u go and stay overnight still? Iv applied for residency but hubby doesnt want to, so he only has 45 days left woukld be great if we could do that ;)
-
Yes it does count and you don't even have to stay overnight. You can just go out on the morning ferry and return on the afternoon trip.
-
Oh wow i really thought id read somewhere you couldnt do it anymore for some reason...thanks very much ;)

Just one point, if you fly back to the UK from Rhodes, you won't be able to get any duty free
-
Do people still do the Meis trips then Liz? For their visa.
-
We went to Meis a couple of months ago, we had a short break in Kalkan & Kas & thought it would be rude to not go to Meis. No visas needed, but the pork chop lunch, some decent wine & duty free swung it for us ;)

Actually heat addled brain has realised that going to Rhodes is not going to make any difference to my husbands visa days cos of the counting backwards from 180 days unless we went to Rhodes for a few weeks! So i guess Il be on my lonesome for November here but hey ho better then being in uk and id like to see what November is like in Turkey ;)
