Hugely shocked and saddened to hear of the recent passing of our dear friend Peter Phillips in Calis at the weekend. Pete was an early customer in Calis who became a great friend. Always a gentleman. We only met up with him in April, and the photo is from then - this is how we always pictured Pete, and now always will be. RIP mate.
Pete was also a tireless volunteer for the 3Cs Children charity. He will be greatly and widely missed.

So sad to hear this news, always had time for a chat and banter with Peter over the years, must admit the last time we spoke was at lees bar last October
when i was representing CBF at the Stuart MacDonald charity evening. Will be missed by many in Calis RIP Peter

We were chatting with him only last Monday in the charity shop - lovely man !
Gobsmacked - RIP xxx

While we didn't really know Pete personally we've chatted to him in the 3C's shop on several occasions. Obviously a very well loved and respected man.
My sincere condolences to his family and all those who knew and loved him.

Pete and I have known Peter for about 15 years since the early CBF party nights. He was a really nice man and always said that when they moved out permanently he would get involved with the 3C's charity. Unfortunately his move to Calis coincided with our retirement from the charity so we never had the opportunity to work together. However since arriving he has worked tirelessly for the charity and was a very friendly face in the 3C's shop. He will be sadly missed not only by the 3C's but by his many friends.
For those who would like to pay their last respects Peters funeral will take place on Wednesday at 2.30 at the Calis cemetery (on the hill over the Calis canal). I understand that there will not be flowers but any donations in his memory can be made to the 3Cs. RIP Peter.
