Title: Curfew for oldies

Just want to confirm about the above subject.

If I go for a meal/drink in Calis - will I have to be home by 8:00 ?

I am 70 !

Yes I understand that is the case.  If you are staying at a hotel you can sit at their bar, you don’t have to go to your room  :)

Just hot off the press - changes mean NO CURFEW for over 65s.

Stay out to 4am and dance on the bar if you like :D

just been announced no curfew in fethiye for over 65's, this includes tourists & residents.

Enjoy but be sensible all.

Haven't heard or seen any announcement that changes this, as far as aware still curfew so only allowed out between 10 and 8pm if over 65, tourist, resident or citizen

Just read on fb that the inspector posted that no curfew for over 65 in Fethiye for tourists and expats. Said Mete Ay spoke to police manager and tourism office. Something official would be good though as this is all very confusing, to say the least.......

Great news as I don't drink till after 8.00 I'm sure this will help people decide to book holidays

Not official yet. Have to wait for announcement re curfew.
Today there are going to be random tests over Turkey.
Bars, mosques, barbers, tea houses, gyms etc to check they are
Following all covid hygiene instructions.
