In this heat, I can't be ar5ed to walk for miles in the hope of getting 0.1 extra on the exchange rate. These days, you'd need to change IRO £200 for it to yield 1 extra efes or glass of wine. Hardly life changing

The higher the rate, the better for tourists but think of the locals.  I don’t think about the exchange rate when I visit.  It is what it is and the quality of food is always great and excellent value regardless of the exchange rate.
