Well ok, instead of May Day how about instead of Whitsun bank holiday, have Winston bank holiday, we would get a week then to honour the great man, lubbley jubbley.

Well what a jolly good idea.  It could be like Lewes Bonfire where we could burn effigies of Thatch rather than the Pope or Guy Fawkes.  As to giving more holidays to UK Citizens to celebrate this day, I think not.  This would not fit in with Dave, Gideon and Nick's austerity plans.

Good on here aint it. ,    Definitely  agree with an Arthur Scargill day, the most obvious logical choice has to be April 1st.
