for those who hade a 2/2.4 metre dishes installed you can now watch ITV 1 providing you have a free to view card and a sky box.
go to other channels enter the frequency of 12.402mhz
polarisation vertical
symbolrate 27.5
fec 2/3
then find channels when it has down loaded the channels press the yellow button to store you will find various areas covered so you might want to select them all so use the down curser and the yellow button to store them
then press select twice then back up then go to other channels no 6 then press select this will not be in the sky epg :)

Does anyone know if we bring our sky+ box & card out to Turkey and keep our subscription going in UK whether we will be able to get the same channels as we would at home?
-
That depends on what size dish you buy over here.
-
We would have a normal size dish. So on that basis what channels could we hope to receive?
-
None.

Come on Scunner, don`t beat around the bush, give her a straight answer. :D
-
Sorry about that. I could have taken the time to write around 10 topics on the subject.
Oh, I already have.
-
Ok. I'm really sorry Scunner if I'm annoying you, but I cannot get my head around this Sky thing!!
This is the last time I will ask this question - I promise :)
If I keep my Sky subscription going here in the UK and have a 1.5m dish (which I presume is the size you usually see on the roofs in Turkey) will I be able to access most of the channels I get here? ie: Sky sports & movies? Also does it matter what package I have here - at the moment I pay for everything, but if I downgrade will I still get the same channels in Turkey?
Or should I look into getting Digiturk?? :D
