Does anyone know the cost of calling the UK from Turkey please on a Turkcell or Avea phone and service? I ask because my PAYG package with Tesco here in the UK gives me twice my top up. This means if I put £20 on it they add £40 in credit too. If I use this (assuming it will allow me to) then in theory my costs of calling the UK from Turkey should be around 70p per min. If I am only paying one third and Tesco credit are paying the rest then I am really only paying about 23p per minute. I wonder how this cost would compare with using a Turkish phone/service. I would of course use the Turksih phone to call within Turkey. I hope I have got the maths right on this, not my best attribute!
