We now have a new bus route which runs from the new 5 star hotel along the river via cicek around past the new staff blocks and back on the road to fethiye.The dolmus runs every half hour up untill 8 oclock in the evening 7 days a week,the fares are 3 lira each way.

Oooh sounds like a CBF jaunt ...where does the dolmus go thorough Calis?

Seems just like the dolmus from the Majesty Tuana, the do not come to Calis Beach, they just go straight to Fethiye.
I think they don't want their customers comes to Calis.

My mate in the villa next door caught the dolmus at the bridge in cicek this morning to fethiye,when he gets back later today i will be able to give you details of the route that it takes,very handy for us no more walking down into ciflick to catch the dolmus.By the way Selma and figo have now opened for english breakfast and sunday lunch melodi cafe opposite thelmosses.

I think it goes up the top road and then down through Gunlukbasi on its way to Fethiye. Not sure where it starts but it certainly stops at the Sensatori hotel as I've heard a few have caught it to explore Fethiye.
Some even walked as far as the Mekan last weekend but the weather stopped them getting any further ;-)

The bus starts at the sensatori hotel along the river via cicek sitsie pass daphne resturant up to the main road and straight into fethiye it does not go into calis.

Would you be able to get this bus to the Melodi bar in Koca Calis

Does it terminate by the Mosque in Fethiye ?

we havent been out to telemessos for nearly 12 months, where abouts is the melody bar you are refering to by telemessos please, also any other changes to local beach bars, we are out next wk and cant wait,

Melodi Bar.
Walk out of the site and walk towards Calis. It's just where the locals use to park up all week. Overlooks the memorial I think.

Can confirm today that the Dolmush does depart on the sloping road where the Calis and Olu bus depart from in Fethiye.

Yes you can more or less get the dolmus to melody cafe exit bus on the bridge in cicek sitsie bridge and just walk a couple of hundred yards to thelmosses complexe and you will come to melody cafe just up the concrete ramp on the left hand side you cannot miss it.

And I believe that once you have eaten at Melodi bar / restaurant , YOU WILL GO BACK THERE !!!! :P

Does anyone know which name is on dolmus and if you can catch it from Gunlukbasi?

There is a new resturant bar called zentara just opening,a bar called the sports bar,and another bar called koca calis beach bar next to sands bar these apart from melodi cafe are all new this year.

I thought Koca Calis Beach and Sands are one and the same. Max changed the name from Sands I believe.
He now has some rather large palm trees in situ.

thanks all, I know the melody bar, just outside telemessos clicky gate just didn't realise the name!!
sounds like we will have a few new places to try out too.
