No Scunner I was going to but realised just in time that I had the car up there and no way to get back up to drive it down , so maybe next time. :o :o :o :o :o :o :-X

Next time if you do decide, get Hazardous Sport Insurance along with your normal Travel Insurance, before you leave the U.K. or you will not be covered. There is someone on F.B at the moment who did not have this insurance and had an accident on a quad bike and his wife was trying to raise £30,000 to bring him home, as he has been in a coma since the begining of May. She did not realise that Quad Biking along with Paragliding and Jeep Safaris are classed as Extreme Sports and not covered with normal Travel Insurance.

Thanks for the advice but we live in Calis already so no travel insurance would apply.
Not that I really intend jumping off a mountain or Quad bike any time soon lol.

Yes you must do it, its well worth it.
The bottom 2/3 is a bit rutty and dusty but the top 1/3 is block paved with concrete edges.
You have to keep an eye open for other vehicles though up top as in places its not wide enough for two cars to pass let alone the buses ferrying people up there.
The view is amazing.

Great pics & enjoyed babadag ourselves last September, is there a forum on here regarding trips from calis or can someone recommend good or bad experiences, we have booked for the sunset cruise next weds 8th & possibly looking to do the jeep safari again ( did this 5 years ago) , anything anyone can recommend appreciated.

Did it many years ago when the easiest option was to jump off the mountain rather than face the drive back down the mountain, long before there was a proper road

We walked to the summit from Olu Deniz beach a couple of years ago and sat on top of the lookout post building there. A once only ha ha.
Have also took off from the top in 2008 but not many seem to go from there now after they paved the lower take off area.

I'm sorry. Did you say you walked from the beach to the top of Babadağ?
