I have just booked the Kaan Hotel for a few days in October, and according to the map the hotel is toward the Coca Calis end of the promenade, is this correct, don't know Calis that well, but stayed at Rosary Beach in May and thinks its only a few minutes away, can anyone help with directions (car-hired) for this hotel,
thanks

I'd like to know the same, I've booked for next May , but also hoping to be lucky enough to get out mid October, depending how generous the doctor is with my certificate after a small operation.

Kaan hotel is very near Aydin pide on Baros Man/ Blv.

we used to stay here when we first stated coming to Calis.Great hotel, friendly, you have made a good choice :)
-
Hotel to Baris Manco approx. 550 m
Baris Manco to Dolphinless roundabout approx. 380 m
Dolphinless roundabout to prom approx. 320 m.
Hope someone says if this is incorrect.
-
About right - why?
-
Actually 550m to BMB is way more than it is (from memory)

I think the first two are the wrong way around ?

I used sunshine holidays map which has it on the other side of the BMB not near the Rosary Beach.
If madmart's co-orinates are corrrect it might be nearer the Rosary Beach.
-
Yes it is definitely where he says. I don't have a clue where the Rosary Beach is though :D
-
It's in the Wedding Circle is it not?
-
It's on sokak980 about a ten minute walk to beach. A few minutes from ayden pida and Shanghai blues on baris Manco Blv.
-
I thought the Kaan was up one of the side streets close to Cafe Pazar...
-
No, it's on the other side of BMB, heading towards the canal
-
The Rosary Beach might be in the wedding circle now, back in my day that was the Dost :o

No, it's not that I am thinking of Keith
What is the one on the Wedding Circle where they call the owner Papa John? I thought that was the Kaan
-
The one in the wedding circle is called the can something or other
-
Rosary beach is on the street that runs parallel to the front, the dolmus passes it on the way to surf café.
-
I think we can safely say that it is nowhere near the beach or Koca Calis then..
-
I think we can safely say it's exactly where Madmart said it was, two days ago. :)
-
Rosary beach is on the seafront.
-
also the worst hotel we ever stayed in but that's another story.. Rosary that is..

It certainly is.
I do wish that some people on here did not automatically assume that what I write is cobblers.
We have neighbours who used to stay there before they bought a place, and when there is an instance of too many visitors that is where the excess visitors stay.

That will be the one

Hi just picked this up. We stayed at the Kaan hotel ever year for 13 years we only moved to the Letoon and then to the Aymes (which is behind the Rosary Beach) as we wanted to be closer to the front. As has been said the Kaan Hotel is about a 20 minute walk back from the front going straight up from the dolphinless roundabout. I usually explain where it is by saying its about 5 minutes walk further up the same road as the Buse Hotel. Most people know the Buse Hotel because of the spiral water slide over the swimming pool. It's in a really quite area and run by a lovely family so provided you don't mind the walk you'll be fine. If you don't want to walk the dolmus goes pass the road into Kaans so it's easy. I am sure you'll enjoy it provided you know that its no where near the seafront as the Rosary is. I would request an upper floor room, pool side if you don't mind some noise from the bar in the evening and want the sun during the day as its west facing or the back of the hotel as it's quieter and you get the late evening sunshine. Its got a friendly bar, good restaurant and best of all a huge pool. Hope this helps.
