Title: Mangals
Post by: Fran on September 30, 2016, 06:47:03 AM: Tried the new Mangals last night. The restaurant itself looks stylish. But if you can't get cheese rolls right! (soggy). Main courses were ok but nothing to write home about. Hopefully it was a one off.

Post by: Google on September 30, 2016, 15:46:07 PM: Went in Mangal on Tuesday night. Four of us had fantastic meal 2 steak meals 1 stroganoff and one lamb shank all beautifully cooked and presented. Maybe you were unlucky or we were lucky! Will go again.

The old B52 one has now dropped the Mangal name.

The food was just average and nothing to tempt us back for the time we were there. Also, the noise from the place on their belly dancing nights was so loud. A restaurant owner we know said if it went on him and some of the other owners would think about complaining. I have not noticed any entertainment this time though.

They wont be seeing us again.

Yes it is the Original one. They seem to have gone to a lot of effort to make it look nice but really need to work on there customer care.
As I say they have lost our custom.

Food very good on two occasions, not so good the other. Service first class on all three occasions.

Post by: pompeylee on October 05, 2016, 18:14:23 PM: Blimey mother of three that was fast work Highlander doesn't even look pregnant in the photo, Eaten here several times & never had a bad meal, Im sure if we did & mentioned it to one of the staff they would more then sort it & yes Osman & Amy are lovely people.
Gino de campo was never seen again after meeting him in April working there 8)
