I've got a multi-use box that I bought in Turkey. Works fine for me.

How many euros or dollars can you fit in it?

Definitely pick yourself up an Android TV box in the UK and bring it over with you. I hear they are dirt cheap over there now.
They could be cheap here too I suppose but at least you know what you're buying in the UK :)
-
Buy a firestick and take it to Bulent at Lotus computers to get it loaded. I am told it is cheaper to buy the firestick in the uk rather than here.

I second that. Make sure you get a good fast internet speed as well.
-
Buy a firestick or android box in the uk & install what you need for free either in uk or when you get here, , ask around or use Bulent if unsure, I do my own & have put apps on friends for free , our internet speed rarely gets above 5 so as long as internet is 3 upwards & stable you should be ok

Will a now tv box work in turkey
-
As far as I'm aware no - however with a vpn you can still access the service via smart devices.

Do people still have Digiturk these days?
-
We do
-
Never had Digiturk.
-
We did when we first lived there. I think my favourite channel was the fish tank
-
We had Digiturk for a few years when we first come out here, no other options available then. BBC entertainment was one long reel of repeats, we liked Judge John Deed, but we when were word perfect with the script :) it was time to move on. My friend still has it and only pays 10tl a month for BBC and a few films.
-
We have a firestick someone where my son used to work added on stuff for us and gave us instructions on how to access the latest films etc, whilst new releases werent the best quality they were watchable, recently though nothing seems to load, we get the same message come up " no stream available".would this be something Bulent could help with does anyone know please, like would it be possible to wipe everything off and start from beginning again? We are not very techy...
-
Hi Karenina, bulent could do for you not sure what he charges though, I do my own firesticks, if you're calis area pm me if you want & I will update stick for free.
-
Has anyone tried out out a T95m box yet. Info on https://www.icoolgadgets.com/products/tv-box-cyber-monday?variant=5154219032608? Not even sure whether it works in Turkey although can't see any reason why not.
-
It will work in Turkey, as long as you have a fast enough internet connection.
That said, it's quite poor specification for that amount of money. 1Gb of Ram and the older S905 chip is something you can pick up for twenty quid or so - no led clock but will function just as well.
The apps are all mainstream and easy to install, Kodi, Mobdro etc.

That's what I thought too John - thank you.
-
Thank you very much Pompeylee thats so kind of you, im just going to pm you now
-
Hi Karennina, I have replied.
-
could I run a fire stick using mifi or would it be to slow and not enough gb
-
Fine using a mifi trainer but would quickly use up you're data, friends used earlier this year but had to top up after 3 days, depends how much you use it for.
-
Thought as much
-
There is also a limit on how many times you can top up as I found out when the grandchildren were staying. 15GB lasted about 4 days probably less if watching in HD. The 3rd top up was rejected at the counter stating not allowed.
-
Just a thought trainer if you have unlimited data on a phone & are able to cast (Google chrome cast?) Or a compatible smart tv could you stream via phone to tv.
-
unfortunately I don't have a smart TV and am on O2 and would have to pay £3:99 a day for unlimited or what they call fair use but I suppose I could use my IPad with apple TV and use the mobile hot spot on my phone
-
I am not sure Turkey is included in that Peter
-
02 mobile have most of Europe free except Turkey but you can use paid for data at £3.99 per day
I was in pc world today and they have an EE box 20gb of data for £30 a month on a rolling contract box is free at the moment
