Bank information required

With respect to all,it has nothing to do with property,or residency,or Visa residents.It was requested by the government. They want to know details of account holders and have requested of the banks to provide this info as a first stage.I believe you will find it is in support of recent changes in goverment legislation to crack down on the black economy.This applies to everyone whether Turkish or Yabanci!Both the Banker and Baz have given all sensible answers,so why not follow them,Whats the problem?

This topic is resembling the one about the registration of mobile phones. it went on forever and eventually there was more heat than light.
Anyone who is interested should just check with their own bank when next in Fethiye.

ive done what the goverment want, proved ive lived here...what more do you want...Diverbaz1 and banker have explained THERE situation well, so have many , so there is no problem, cant see what the fuss is about ..most have done whats wanted, the rest will follow , as is required:D

Well
I have to ask again . Maybe Banker can help. We will move to Turkey on 12th,No Tapu yet so no electricity bill in our name, no Uk address anymore so how do we open a bank account. ??
