Useful article about insurance in Fethiye Times - but they used the wrong link - so here is the right one:

Once on the site click "Evinizin DASK sigorta primini hesaplamak için tiklayin" at the bottom of the centre section.

For most of us then select MUGLA for the first box - then FETHIYE - then appropriate DISTRICT Fethiye, Ciftlik, Olu etc

Second Box most will select: CELIK BETONARME KARKAS - Steel Reinforced Concrete

Then put the number of Sq Mtrs of your property in the final Daire Yüzölçümü box.

Type in the SECURITY CODE and then click Hesapla

You will then get the Estimated Insurance Rebuild Cost and the Insurance Premium Price for your own DASK that should be charged if arranged for you by a third party - might stop you being overcharged - if you know what it should be!!!

This is a topical post for me, so grateful for the information. Regarding the square metres of your property: if it's an apartment, is this simply the footprint of all rooms, including balconies?

Have tried unsuccessfully 5 times to get Dask Calculation[?] Keep getting new security code to enter.  Tried upper case,lower case to no avail? usually these boxes arent case sensitive.  Any idea what I'm doing wrong.
