Bank Charges on Current Account?

Hi - looking at my Finans Statement do they have a standard bank charge as there are a couple of lines I don't understand other than they are deducting money?

21/12/2008    Hizmet Bedeli Tahsilati    -10.00

28/12/2008    2008 yili 4. Dönem Hesap isletim Ücreti Tahsilati    -10.50

Now I rarely use this account other than to pay utility bills and I top up just enough to cover those each time we leave but I have seen these lines before and think I should now what they are!!!

We opened an account with Finans in January and they said that there would be a charge of 10.50 tl every 3 months

We have an account with Garanti which we get charged for if the balance falls below a certain amount. We will be looking to change to a good internet account this year so if anyone knows of a good bank that operates an internet account (in English) I would be interested.

Finans bank operate internet banking and is in English

HSBC has internet banking that you can log in on your uk or turkish ac
in English the only draw back is you can't transfer between the 2 ac

finans internet banking is very easy to use, and the security is good to, they change your security number every month

@ ian , i am with finans and have exactly the samee deductions on the same date as you , so it must be some sort of bank charge
