In all fairness to Alper he tried really hard to persuade his seniors to sponsor the Carnival. He was very embarassed that they wouldn't part with any money.

Hi Mercury,
ihave never had to chance to meet you but i feel you are judging me unfairly. When I was trying to get sponsorship for the carnaval and I tried my best but unfortunately the decision was not mine to make. If you wish to know any details please ask Pete or chrissie.

Alper,

Are you working this week? Our partners need to open a new bank account as soon as possible as we are waiting for some money to be paid into it from our insurance company.

If you are I will get them to call and ask for you.

Thanks

Mark - what do you mean 'call Alper's number'?

Ron,

Seem's they have some money waiting to be paid into our bank account - unfortunately Garanti closed it for some reason!

We'll get our new furniture yet! Only put the claim in January 2008!

Mark - thanks - our friends are there right now and need to open an account asap. I'll get them to pop in ans ask for Alper - maybe they will be directed to the English speaking girl if they ask nicely.

BusyBee is right, Alper, who is a very nice guy,  really did try his best for us and was trying for weeks to get sponsorship but unfortunately his head office would not sponsor so he could do nothing about it. Maybe we will have better luck with Fortis next year
