Travel Insurance for Ex pats
« on: March 30, 2009, 11:21:28 AM »
I have just returned from Aviva Insurance in Fethiye, it is between the cinema and the corner restaurant to the left, on the first floor,
They speak good English and all information booklets and documents are in English, they are an agent for Commercial Union.

For one month travel insurance Europe and America, approx 50 ytl depending on interest rates. :)

Tinx ;)

tinkerman, I think that what you have been quoted for is the basic travel ins. that Turks have to take out, before they are given a visa to leave the country.  It covers medical costs, and repatriation, up to 30,000Eur.  I have taken the Turkish policy before, and the cover is not comparable to one that you would buy in the U.K., if you are a U.K. resident.
