We stayed there a few years back and it was absolutely fine.  The rooms and the swimming pool were good - the breakfast was sometimes a bit iffy, the chef was not too good at boiling eggs, but apart from that the food was fine.   It is situated near the far end of the prommenade and is handy for the dolmus, and the beach is right on your doorstep. When we were there the owner had a wierd system going for buying drinks, you couldn't pay for them at the bar and had to pay at reception - however now Thomson have taken it over this might have changed.   The rooms also had a safe in the room which was really handy but again sometimes they didn't work and you had to use the ones near reception. They also had a fridge in the room which was handy for keeping your water cool.
