Having put in my last post only a couple of weeks ago I made a stupid mistake at the Hisaronu main change office last night. Went in and asked to change 200GBP and asked for receipt to be safe. The guy counted out the amount in lira in front ofme and this matched the recept. Two hours later pulled out the money to find I was 20 lira short. moral of the story - dont be a berk like me and count the amount as well as relying on the cashier to count it.

which exchange shop in Hisaronu is the MAIN exchange shop...the one in the Nicholus precinct is relativly new ...on another forum this one has had bad reviews..but the exchange shop nearer the market area has been around for years..ive never heard of a bad deal there..or am i wrong???????????
