You are so right Highlander the UK takes some beating for scenery. Biassed I may be but coming from Ullapool where you can experience four seasons in one day, I think the North West of Scotland has some of the most rugged and majestic scenery in the UK
One of the many reasons Fethiye appeals to me is its similarity to Ullapool - not in size of course - but the fact it is surrounded by mountains and islands and when you see old photos from when Fethiye was just a fishing village the likeness is quite astonishing.
