A day out at Pinara

I think it's on the way to Pratara, just copied this from an information site :

On the highway to Kas from Fethiye, there is a road branching off to the left before arrival at Eşen. The village of Minare is 5 kms. from the turnoff. After a walk of fifteen minutes, one arrives at Pinara. The name of the city in the Lycian language is Pinole, meaning round, as evidenced by the hill here. Pinara is one of the major Lycian cities, with a vote of three in the League due to its size.

It is 55 km. away from Fethiye at the feet of Akdağ. It is one of the most biggest cities of Lycia. It is known as the city in which first beauty competition is organized within the region, and gain importance with its strange architectural temple devoted to goddess Aphrodite. Hundreds of "pigeon nest" type prepared public type tombs make Necropolis unique. How to get there: Some travel agencies run Daily trips to Pınara, if you want to be little more adventures you can hire a moped for a day (1,5 hour ride)

That looks a fabulous place and somewhere I would enjoy going to. Can you get there by public transport?
