Pool Maintenance/Garden maintenance
« on: July 01, 2005, 16:27:28 PM »
Hi everybody

Could anyone give me an indication of how much it would cost to have a pool (30'x16'approx guess)regularly maintained, and also how much to expect to pay a gardener to maintain the garden? Do you have any recommendations?

Our agent charges £135 per month for a private pool and £35 per month for private gardens. By the way, we chose a communial pool and garden, which cost us the grand total of £12 per month.

Thanks for the info.  We have a communal pool and gardens for 8 apartments and the charge is £250 per annum to look after pool/gardens.  There has been a problem with the the pool recently and it had to be emptied and refilled.  Seems the guy who tends it is not quite sure what he should be doing!!  Ooh! Err! Missus!

Try All-Aspects their pool guy charges £105 p\m to do a proper job, also for any other work try them for a quote,we have used them for a few jobs and the prices are very fair and although we live here and can arrange our own workmen it does take away the hassle of chasing up bad workmanship, haggling for a realistic price and just making sure the workers turn up.
We can highly reccomend them and they are great people, will be doing more business with them in the future.
