Shower Spray
« on: December 09, 2014, 17:14:43 PM »
Is there anything I can buy over here that's like the shower sprays you can get in the UK?
You know - spray it around the shower and on the doors after using and it keeps it all streak-free etc.

I did look in the smaller Migros by the harbour in Fethiye today but couldn't see anything obvious.

I would not use CIF as it streaks.  We bought some stuff that is good.  I think we bought it in Kipa.  It is in a clear spray bottle and is like Mr Muscle.

It's the minerals in the water that leave the streaks. To eliminate them you need Por Coz. But be careful with it 'cos it's highly toxic.

That is brilliant stuff. It steams and fizzes when it goes on, but boy, does it clean!  I was thinking of bringing some back to UK until I read the list of banned substances!   :)

It's an acid and it's sale is banned in retail outlets in the UK. You can get similar if you're in the commercial cleaning business though.

If you use it on marble surfaces make sure it's well diluted. It eats marble.

It also brings grouting up like new. Stinks whilst it is cleaning but does work very well - keep away from skin though. And clothes.

Yes, got Por Coz, it's brilliant.

I was just after something that you spray and leave into a wet shower that'll keep it reasonably clean seeing as my lot seem incapable of clearing up after themselves......  : :)
