Flying out this afternoon does anyone know if the ATMS charge for withdrawing cash? Please reply don't want to bring English money to change if I don't need ton

Your card provider will govern what you pay at foreign ATMs.

Just a note of caution when withdrawing cash with a credit card. Although there may not be a withdrawal fee as such, interest will still be charged as the withdrawal of cash is processed as a loan. Purchases on the Clarity card are interest and fee free, and at the moment gives one of the best conversion rates.  I am happy to be shot down on this one as a credit card which does not charge interest on cash withdrawals would be my dream come true!    :)

When you use the Clarity Card to withdraw cash abroad, if you can access the account over the internet check the final figures and then pay through your bank. You can do this before the statement is produced. You will pay a small amount of interest but only a day or two's worth.

Nationwide was still free in June. Don't think it's changed.

Its Nationwide's debit cards and depending on what account you have,  some of the new basic accounts don't have the free cash withdrawal abroad

If you want to draw foreign currency when abroad, and will pay off in full at the end of the month, then Barclaycard Platinum credit card will not charge interest.

Thankyou Colwyn. I wasn’t aware of that. Is this card free?   :)

Yes. No annual fee, no ATM fee, no foreign currency fee.
