Dihydrocodeine
« on: September 12, 2017, 13:54:29 PM »
Hiya,
Does anybody know of anywhere in Calis or Fethiye where you can get slow release dihydrocodeine? Someone staying on my complex hasn't enough to last til the end of their holiday.  Their doctor can send them some but it won't get here until their last day!
Thanks

I can only suggest trying the Calis Chemist or the English speaking chemist in Fethiye near Burger King..

I'm pretty sure dihydrocodeine is not available in Turkey. If it is it will almost certainly be prescription  only.....

If this is codeine..I might have some. Is it a strong pain killer they give u after operations? I'll have a look if you tell me the mg you need.

I'd be wary of passing on any controlled medication to someone in Turkey I don't know.

From a legal perspective, you could be accused of a number of drug related offences if it came to the attention of the authorities.

Just saying...

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions.
It sounds like they probably don't do it over here, especially not the slow release, but I'll suggest she takes her current box to the English speaking chemist in fethiye to see if they do an equivalent.

There is also Dr Ali clinic on Sunday market road who can write prescriptions for the controlled medicines here, you would pay a consultation fee...both times in the space of nearly a year I have been seen within an hour, first time was within 10 minutes, I can highly recommend him as a doctor and lovely English receptionist spotlessly clean clinic...
