Think you are thinking of Sands Bar ran  by Menderes (Mex) and his brother Baris.

This thread just makes you realise how many different bars have occupied the same property over the years.
Take what is now Adrian, in the time we have been coming to Calis it has been  (past to present as we recall) Poyraz, Berk, Bostans, an Italian (can't remember the name but great pizzas), Vojos and now Adrian (I have probably missed a couple as well)

I'm terrible with names BUT loved Anna's when Anna was there & all the pool tables, just doesn't have the same atmosphere etc now... Loved the lighthouse when, was it Phil & Louise? had it, not been in recently although it's somewhere i keep meaning to try... we do still go in the meeting point but not as often as when Baris & Marc had it.... there was a restaurant i'm sure diagonally opposite Serils we liked, they had German Shepherd dogs??

I'm pretty certain The Magic Pan and Poyraz were around at the same time but the years haven't been kind on my memory :D
