bluetooth speakers
« on: June 09, 2018, 19:21:40 PM »
hi, has anybody had any good /bad experiences with the fake beats pill bluetooth speakers you can get on the sunday market, before  anyone says,  i have searched  the archives and there was a positive comment on these  a couple of years back, i'd be interested on any more recent purchases and reviews and typical prices we can expect to haggle down to , or alternatively any advice on good vfm "legit" buys from any supermarkets/ electrical shops ?

I'm not sure if this is the feedback you're after... but if you seriously think that some wanky Chinese (or Taiwanese) copy of a hundred odd quid's worth of blue-tooth speaker sold in a market in Turkey, that you'll haggle down to a fiver (or whatever), is going to be anywhere close to the quality of the original, then maybe a visit to an otolaryngologist is called for.

Off to Google definitions again........

Why would you - or indeed anybody - know that word?

Can't even pronounce the rascal but I think I could play it on a harmonica.

David I bought a KS boombar for around £30.00 (we think from Sainsbury's) and the sound quality is good.
Very handy for the apt.It is made in China like most things now  8)

I recently replaced my old Beats speaker, both bought at Calis market.

The old one worked perfectly for years until it eventually died.

The new one unfortunately only plays about 6 songs on repeat out of a selection of hundreds on the same memory card that I was using.

Next time I will buy from a shop and take my memory stick with me and test it properly in the shop.

Not the speaker I know but girls bought the fake Beats headphones from along the front and I was amazed at the quality of sound. Sadly the quality of build didn’t match and they soon broke.

They usually have a good range of Bluetooth speakers at Sainsbury’s with a couple usually on offer.

I'm sure someone posted on here about a set of branded headphones they bought, allegedly with the ability to play from an SD card.  When they tried to put the card in the slot, it simply fell into the body of the headphones.  No SD card reader installed!
