It will be my first time at Sunset Beach and I am reasonably confident that the accommodation will be Joy Lettings' usual high standard.

What's the rest of the place like? Bar? Cafe?

Your input (and that of others who have stayed there) most welcome......

Hi Stuart,

the Villas on SBC are usually pretty smart so you will be fine there.

The bar and restaurant on site are very good, we use them regularly. Being honest, you will find them a little more expensive than "downtown" Calis, but they are your doorstep.

There is also a shop on site selling food (inc fresh bread daily) and other essentials such as inflatable dolphins, and also a Turkish bath/ massage place.

Regards

Ian

Thanks Ian.

Much encouraged by your post.

It's a real bonus to know I can get an inflatable dolphin......

(I have self censored the next sentence).

Regards

Stuart

Have got visions of you, Stuart, riding astride an inflatable dolphin, into the far distance on the crest of the waves, A very disturbing vision to say the least!  :D

Thanks for the review Steve - we need loads of reviews please...

One observation - Recep was originally a butcher and Mrs Scunner, a hater of fish apart from Fish Fingers and the crispy ends of my chippy tea haddock, adores Recep's steaks. Mind you, she likes the cremated which is simply a waste of prime beef.

Would you say Charcoal Palace is better than Calis Beach Indian? I've only tried the latter and that was really good (for Indian food in Turkey anyway).

I would say there both equally great,  Calis beach Indian is the best Indian I've had in Turkey & the quality & size of the portions in charcoal mangal will be hard to beat, Fish & chips to die for, Oh & there growing chillies, tomatoes & cucumelon that I originally grew from seed, not biast attall 😜

Keith Charcoal Palace or Mangal Sarah is not an Indian ,maybe you mean Curry Palace.
I love Calis Beach Indian But on non recommendation haven’t been to curry palace. We have friends who love the starters at curry palace but not the mains and go to Calis Beach Indian fir mains !
