Maggie went to the "opticians" just over the bridge in Çalis as one of her screws had come loose.

The "optician" took them into the back room and after hammering and mumbling for about ten minutes he returned having put a screw in that would have held a car wing on!

He charged us 10lira and when she took them into Tesco they couldn't believe what he'd done.

"Optician"? I don't think so!

Mrs KKOB has had a loose screw for years but even I wouldn't be silly enough to take her to an opticians for a cure.  ;)

I got my Varifocals from Tesco. Designer frames as well. Also got a free pair of Varifocal sunglasses. However, I didn't realise they were designer frames until reading this thread today. I don't care what name is on them as long as I can see through the buggers!!!

I also think somebody on here needs dumping in room 101 :o
