A plane has skidded off an airport runway in Istanbul, causing the jet to split into three pieces, Turkish media reports.

Thank goodness no one was killed! Very frightening for all those on board though.

Unfortunately one death is announced now :(
157 injured and taken to hospitals.

Update: Sadly it's now been reported that 3 people were killed.
