I booked with credit card too.  What a shame they have gone bust I just got used to flying from Aberdeen without that long trek to Glasgow or Edinburgh..  Lets hope someone else will start flights from Aberdeen before next Summer.

It's big blow to Scotland as they flew to lots of destinations. Not only that, the more popular destinations flew daily, so you could scoot away for a weekend break. So sad!

my travel trade gazette only states that formal notification will be on line later today from globespan ,, and also from the C A A in the morning.and also pricewaterhouse the receivers

they also state if you have paid via C/C you will need to contact your card company asap.,

a very big blow for scottish travellers and also those who have booked flights via others on charter flights from the whole uk.

the BBC news web page has more info on this , scoll down and you will find it, .

Oh dear I had one way booked with Globespan and back with Aegean. Will have to try TC now and probably pay twice as much as I got quite good prices.
It is a shame really as so many people used them up our way.

If you have booked a package holiday you are covered by ATOL.  If you have booked just flights you will only have a chance to get money back if you have paid by credit card.
Contacted my Credit Card Company this evening, they are sending me a claim form to claim back my flight costs.  It will take up to 5 days to receive this form.

same same, booked 2 sets of flights from ABZ but paid with CC, anything costing over £100 is covered.
