Jet2 inaugural flight from Glasgow

Departed on time, arrived on time. Comfortable seating and leg room. Usual snacks and booze prices for airlines.
Of course, it is often just enough to get a flight from Glasgow direct to Dlm.
Use or lose it, I suspect.

Yes it's a shame that most people think of all the things you have to add to the opening price when they think of Jet2 - because although that is true and very irritating, we have always found the planes, staff, legroom etc to be excellent for a 'budget' airline.

We did look into it as they seemed cheap and we thought even if we had to travel from Aberdeen to Glasgow it might be worth it, however once we added on all the extras it was not a bargain and worked out cheaper and more convenient for us to leave from Aberdeen with T.C.

Mr Toky & I flew with them in Feb to Salzburg in Austria. The plane was new, loads of leg room and very comfortable leather seats. The new planes have allegedly been designed by a guy who is 6'4" AND, the seats don't recline ! Brilliant. 22kg luggage and 10kg hand luggage.
:D

When we booked the flight times was the clinching factor.  Now to hear that there is better legroom is a bonus. Getting excited....... 8) 8)

Dalaman to Glasgow 16th May.
Even more comfort and legroom .... only 29 passengers!
I hope the season is successful ..... use it or lose it.

Yeah my brother came back on that one and they got 3 seats each to lie out on. But the first flight only went out the week before and lots of people stay for 2 weeks.

we had the same on our return T.Cook flight on 5th May. Less than half full and we had a row of 3 seats each. I lifted the arm rests, lay down and fell asleep for most of the journey...............way to go!
