Dalaman Airport Arrivals Duty Free

When flying into Dalaman they will only let you purchase 1 bottle spirits or 2 bottles liquer on 1 passport.Better deal at UK airports and no limit to what you buy and usually better offers.Sometime the planes have better offers than the airports too.

We are having an argument about this one. I seem to remember the rule was you could bring 4 litres from the UK and still buy a litre on arrival in Dalaman. Hr indoors reckons you can bring 5 litres from the UK and remembers a sign in Manchester listing the allowance as 5 followed by (1)

I have known people to buy their 5 litre allowance at Manchester, buy 2 litres on the plane, and drop in to duty free on arrival and get 1 more litre of spirits, or 2 litres of liquoir. I am not recommending this, just pointing out that it can be done.

My only problem is drinking the whole 1 Ltr of JD in the two weeks we are there, but in the spirit of the games i will be going for gold in the next 2 weeks lol
