Firstly, there are two species of haggis. One with the left leg longer and the other with the right leg longer.

A pair of haggis legs, like a brace of pheasants, wouuld consist of one of each. Thus parity in weights.

Obviously, they cannnot interbreed - the balancing act required for procreation would be nigh on impossible - like standing up in a hammock.

Each species has to go round the hillside in a different direction and eggs are laid in specially scratched out furrows.

In very high winds and occasional earth tremors some eggs have been displaced and may, if you are very lucky, roll down the hillside into a hedgerow.

Good luck with your search.

That's rubbish, they interbreed quite successfully and procreate by using a crutch to reach the crotch, albeit in a rickety fashion.

There is a large colony of them in your neck of the woods Stuart  Fishcombe Cove is overrun with them but they only appear

on the 32nd of each month, at midnight. Haggis plumage is treasured by the Wherethehellarewe tribe in the Sahara

         marshlands.

Somewhat disturbing to learn of this interbreeding. I knew nothing about it.

"Normal" inbreeding in this part of Devon is widespread/compulsory (proudly, my family tree has no branches) and is encouraged to ensure racial purity.

I was taught that the Haggis dexter and haggis sinister had evolved separately from the prehistoric four legged haggis to become haggis erectus i.e. two legged with much smaller forelegs (arms).

THis interbreeding may well result in the creation of a new type of haggis - haggis sapiens.

It is clear from your information that they are now using tools .

This is a very worrying development.

It’s a braw bricht moonlit nicht the nicht”

Translates to: It’s a brilliant bright moonlight night tonight. I’ve heard it sung by Harry Lauder, but outside of that, I’ve never heard anyone actually say it...not Robbie Burns then..

- CORRECT but we don't really need one   ;)

an excuse to eat haggis
INCORRECT most people in God's own country have it more than once during the year

Quote
excuse to celebrate his allegedly fantastic works.
CORRECT but only after we have totally fulfilled our obligations under the  first criteria mentioned.
