typical crabbit re-manu

just as there's a sensible debate about manu he locks the subject,question....what do you all think he would of done if it was his team..... ;):D: :)
dennis...
mutdforever...

examples below: :) ;):D

do you not think man u are fab we dont play that good but keep winning.
but it was only arsenal not one of the big guns like burnley
whos going to win the prem!!!!!

That's irrelevant. If the keeper hadn't come flying in like he did there would be no debate. You can blame Rooney all you like but if he'd kept out of it and stayed on his line it couldn't have become a debate.

How many times have we seen goalkeepers steamrollering someone in exactly that position? Blame the goalkeeper for his pointless and thuggish advance!

What makes me laugh about the jealousy of Rooney, is when he plays for England, I bet some of you are the first to jump up and cheer when he scores for England ( just as I do if Lampard or Gerrard score)

i dont know much about football being north of the border (celtic who i must say got a penalty against them which was wrong in the Arsenal match)but seems like lots of sour grapes from Arsenal fans here!3 points in the bag is what matters.......over a season no Arsenal fan can say the ref hasnt given them the benefit of the doubt...it will happen to every team but its the teams who keep pushing regardless of ref errors who claim to be champions.........dummy tits are selling for 1 lira in Fethiye

Didn't Almunia, with his greater experience of football than me, consider that if he went crashing in horizontally that Rooney might wait for him to dive for the ball and fall over him?

It's the goalkeeper's fault, and it was a penalty correctly awarded.

OK let's assume it was his intention of getting the ball. But he DIDN'T in much the same way as it was John Terry's intention to convert the penalty in the Champions League Final. But he didn't.

it was that classic own goal that settled this match, not Almunia whipping Rooney up as he was about to run the ball out for a goal kick !!

Andy you know Scottish football is on par with Brazilian football.if you need any pointers on the coming season give me a bell.......come on untd

That doesn't sound much like a sensible discussion, Just Man U fans and a couple of people in Scotland defending the indefencible,
as Wenger called it "very old traffordish"

Come on Tink admit it...if it had been a Chelsea forward you would be saying it was a definite penalty.
