Twenty minutes in and already an appalling referiing display from Phil Dowd.

Absolutely inexplicable decision not to send off Vidic.

Hope he does ruin the game.

And it's getting worse.

Now he's made a great display of not booking a Man U player for two offences in as many minutes.

Sending Off Offence

"denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent moving
towards the player's goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a penalty kick"

which part do you imagine that Mr Dowd doesn't understand:(

:(:(:(:(

Yes I meant "doesn't"

OMG Dowd has finally booked Vidic. So if he'd given him the minimum of a yellow at the penalty incident, he would be off now.

That must be you longjohn1953 is referring to Scunner :).

By the way, I agree. The best team did win but that does not excuse Dowd for not sending Vidic off as the rules of the game say the must. Even a yellow card would have meant he would go later on.
