Wasn't he in the paper the other day asking clubs to give English managers a chance? Seems he already knew the writing was on the wall.

Blackburn will be relegated anyway and he will get another job on the manager's merry-go-round.

As a so far unmentioned candidate, how about Tugay? A legend at Ewood and assistant manager at Galatasaray currently. He'd be a very popular choice all round...

This gets more nonsensical by the day. The owners now say they are in no hurry to replace Big Sam. If that's the case, why didn't they wait for the 2 months and then sack him. Or were they scared that he would get Blackburn further up the table. More to this story than we are hearing I think.

Kean appears to be the cheap enthusiastic option for the owners listening to them today on the radio.

I seems Big Sam was not optimistic enough as they want a manager who is going to say "we must aim to be fourth" !!!!

Mrs Desai said last night: "We want good football and Blackburn to be fourth or fifth in the league or even better.

Now call me a male chauvinist pig - but isn't it good to have more women involved in the boardroom  ;)

So which of the top 4 will step aside to let Blackburn in?
