The most important people at Liverpool football club are the people who want to be here."

Liverpool's wage bill is going to be a bit hefty if the Torres deal doesn't go through in the end :D

When you look at his performances over the last 12 months (particularly leading up to and during the word cup) - he is not worth the money.

Andy Carroll still has to prove his maturity and his quality.

Darren Bent will score more goals between now and the end of the season than both of them - maybe so will D J Campbell if Adams stays at Blackpool :D :D

Although not a striker - I think when Man City win the premier league next season we will look back at the purchase of David Silva at Man City as a major factor  ;)

A really good pro with proven class - no ego and a wizard with a ball at his feet.

There's more to a transfer than agreeing a fee Brian  :)

Am I alone in thinking that £ 30m is a helluva gamble on Carroll.

I have said it before that British players are over valued, they should do their homework in Europe and spend a fraction of the cash.  :o
