Well here we go again, 1st game of the season and our great officials dont see barton manhandle arsenals gervinho, drags him from the ground, then claims he was foored by the greatest punch since ali beat foreman, all his team mates telling the ref hes been punched, yes the slap gervinho did was hands on and a sending off offence, so the whole world can see what Barton done but he gets a yellow card and job done, Arsenal down to 10 men. when oh when will this stupid system of officials improve by using video technology? works in all other sports

Totally agree and I will not go into the anger I expressed on another site but it just seems funny that it is always Joey Barton??

You would have thought after recent events he encountered on Twitter and the fact that he was not even allowed to train with his team mates that he would have been on his best behaviour? Maybe he was!!

Never mind, onwards and upwards...... ;)

Barton is a yob and will never change. He is a liability as soon as he puts his feet on the pitch.

Gervinho deserved to be sent off.. you cant slap people.
Without that happening Barton would have had to have been sent off.
All I have seen this weekend is same old thing, who can con who.
Pity teams don't let the football talk.
