yes look  at Barcas record over the last few years,playing possesion   football,
although Chelsea beat them, an attacking game is what i like to see,

You are comparing club v country.

if you have the attacking forces of a club like Barce in your national team you can play attacking football but alas few teams have especially England so you have to play to your strengths,in Englands case defending, and wish for a bit of luck on the break which unfortunately England were never going to get because of the lack of oppertunities created by our midfield /attack.

We do have to congratulate ourselves on being able to substain that much pressure and not conceed a goal against italy, like I said previously we do not have that all out attacker goal machine any more.

I noticed on the BBC site

Germany coach Joachim Loew says his players are distraught after their Euro 2012 semi-final loss to Italy, but says they will learn from the experience.

I suppose England have been learning for 46 years and look where it's got us.

well done spain.playing good attacking football,even when 2 goals up at half time,
and to  score 4 goals against italy after theybeat the germans was brill
