Title: Changing your keyboard for Turkish alphabet
Post by: Tonya on March 03, 2004, 21:20:21 PM
Its possible to change your keyboard so you can toggle between English and Turkish characters.

Start/Settings/Control Panel/Keyboard/Click on the language tab/Click add

you will then see a list of languages, scroll down and click on Turkish, click ok. This means you can then toggle between English and Turkish if you want to.

Here is the layout

I changed my keyboard by going into start, then regional & language, language tab, details, add, choose from drop down menu, okay.  I can toggle between the 2 with left alt + shift.

Thanks Hazel I got my keyboard back to English but I still cannot toggle between the two so I just put it back to normal to be on the safe side.

Neilio, I found my language tab under 'Regional and Language' rather than under 'Keyboard' but I managed to get it set up so I have it on the tool bar at the top and can toggle at will between keyboard layouts. It must depend on the system you have as to exactly where it is.
