Happy New Year to you, Bernie, and everyone on CBF.

Can't wait for 2014 - it will be a year of change for a few of us.
Bring it on!   :)

(And think of me while you're out celebrating - I rashly agreed to half a dozen girls aged 13-15 having a sleepover.... Such a misnomer, there's rarely any 'sleep' involved for any of us!)  : :)

Good Lord woman! Are you insane?

The last time my daughter had a sleep over (about 8 years ago) I ended up in A&E with 5 very emotional and overly dramatic teenage girls. One of my daughter's friends had illegally (she was 15) had her nose pierced earlier in the day at the local fairground and then at 1am realised she'd sniffed the stud up her nose. The doctor eventually examined her (3hours and 40 mins after we had arrived) and found nothing.

We found the stud under a pillow when we got back ....... I refused to let her wear it and made her ring her Mum and tell what had happened.

Ha ha, I'm sorry Aisha but that really made me laugh.  ;D

Fortunately the worst we've had (so far, with fingers crossed and touching wood) is knocking a lampshade off while singing & dancing over-enthusiastically to The Proclaimers...
