A thread in another section has prompted me to suggest a light-hearted thread to shine a small light in these dark times.

What's you favourite Internet Myth ?

Here are three of mine to get you started :

1. You can recharge the new i-phone 4 by putting it in the microwave on full power for one minute.

2. If you drive while wearing flip flops you will invalidate your car insurance

3. Don’t use a pencil to put your cross on a voting slip. MI5 will rub it out and change your vote

I certainly wouldn’t use a pencil to put my cross on a voting slip! Not concerned about MI5 though  ;)

My favourite myth is that NASA staged the moon landings  :)

NASA did it all in a studio in California didn’t they .?
