A conversation you might get into in a nightclub.

Guy:- Sizce bir sakincasi var mi buraya oturmamin?
(Do you mind if i sit here?)

Girl:- Hayir, Birinin arkadasligindan cok memnun.
(No, i'd love some company).

Guy:- Size bir icki alabilir miyim?
(can I get you a drink?)

Girl:- Evet lutfen, sarap - buyuk!
(Yes please, wine - Large!)

Guy:- Daha sakin bir yere gidelim mi?
(Shall we go somewhere quieter?)

Girl:- Benimie eve gelmek ister misiniz?
(would you like to go home with me?)

------Next morning---------

Guy:- Gece icin tesekkurler.
(thanks for last night).

Girl:- Evet, Cok guzeldi.
(yes, it was great).

Guy:- Sizi yarin yine gorebilir miyim?
(can i see you again tommorrow?)

Girl:- Hoscakal
(goodbye).

Guy:- Gorusmek uzere!
(see you soon!)

Girl:- Hoscakal!
(goodbye!)

Guy:- Telefon numaranizi ogrenebilir miyim?
(Can I have your telephone number?)

Girl:- HOSCAKAL!!!
(GOODBYE!!!).

Bang, slam door.

Phrase books have ceratinly changed since I last brought one! There are others obviously good on the market, I recommend this one - Berlitz Turkish Phrase Book & Dictionary - £4.99 Pocket size WH Smiths.

It even helps you buy "something for the weekend!!".
