We're over the last 2 weeks of May with both sets of parents and our son and never having done the Island cruise are considering it this time around.
Wondered if anybody else was considering the same at this time or want to get together to book a private boat if we can. I have no idea of costs so any suggestions would be welcome

Steve i know mark and tracey are here with mother and sister and Liz, we would certainly enjoy a day on a boat

Redding, you should pay £10 per head for the boat trip, allow for a price rise this year, I would guess this at ~£12, though I dont know for sure,your meal is included and you pay separately for any drinks on board,
i have to organise one for May, but dont know as yet exactly how many are on it,but if we end up needing 2 boats your more than welcome.

Carole and Tayfun are doing a private days charter for £120 throughout the season......may be cheaper in the long run....Have fun :)

Thoroughly recommend them - they will even pick you up and drop you off so you can drink the day away without any cares. (Ladies: the loos are always nice too !!)
I'll try to organise another one in mid august for all those peeps with teenagers to keep occupied.....

I actually thought that at £120 per charter, if we got a biggish boat, and charged £15 per person, we could make a tidy profit to donate to some worthly local cause......But thats for another thread, another time... Wish we were there in May - have a fab time everyone.:P

Steve, would also be interested for the end of May trip, but we dont arrive until the 22nd. Please let us know if there is any change to your original date of the 20th (4 of us - plus Amanda and kids :) )

Jules - I wouldn't dare ! I'll try and sort things out in the next few weeks. If anyone else with teenagers to occupy (mid August), want to mail me, I'll get an idea of numbers so we can start a plan ;) 8)

Sorry for not replying sooner. We had some bad news meaning that my parents will need to stay in the UK for the forseeable so my dad can fight the Big C which he has been told he has this week. Our minds aren't really on anything else at the mo...

Steve, sorry to hear about your dad, hope he's ok, I would try and sort it on your behalf but somethings popped up for me too this week. i'm sure one of the members can take it off your hands,just get how many and what date (for Definate),best wishes.
