The second hand market is about 95% clothes.

Very little else. It wasn't what I was hoping for, I was thinking it was going to be more of a flea market.

One of the reasons for that Menthol may be that there are various rules on what can be sold at the Fethiye 2nd hand market - nothing new, no electrical goods & no fake copy DVDs or CDs - these are quite rigidly enforced by the Zabita, who patrol at fairly regular intervals.

The space on the stalls is quite small & you're also not allowed to have items in the aisles in front of them. If you're unlucky & get a stall against the walls the space behind is so minimal, you couldn't get anything on the floor behind either.

Oh point taken Liz. I think I was hoping for bric a brac and householdy type stuff of which there was very little.

Are there any bric a brac or antique shops in Fethiye?

There are evkurs on the back road near the petrol station behind the Tiesday market.
Most of the stuff looks like it should have gone to the too 20 years ago although we did pick up a few  usable second hand bits when we first arrived.
But bric a brac is only usually found in any of the charities shops.
Also look on Fethiye buy sell and swap Facebook pages.

It was sort of household stuff , pictures, mirrors, kusks , that sort of thing we were after.
The second hand shops on the back road tend to be more retro type stuff.
