Sunny day on Calis front

 Still plenty of clouds around and it is still decidedly nippy at night but today and yesterday afforded us some lovely sunshine. Popped down to Calis for a walk and then to the Sahil Lokanta in Fethiye for lunch.

Hi Lotty. Hope you and Martin are well.

Gorgeous couple of days, which we all deserve here. Sorry, but winter has been very long, very wet and very cold. Nothing like last year when there were endless clear sunny days and mild days. Keep being told that this winter was the worst in the region for 25 years. Still, when we aren't shrouded in cloud, up here on the mountain, it still looks glorious   

Lunch was at Sahil-1 and I had the lightly battered kofte with pilav rice and TA had pirzola (chops) and chips. It was indeed delicious.

Great to see out of season Calis - the time of year I miss. But not as much as I miss lunch at Sahil Lokantasi.

Roll on May 3rd.. that's my view for 3 weeks  !!  Can't wait

Lovely photos. We come back to this stunning scenery in just under a month. Lifts our spirits as we are currently Sat warmly inside whilst it's snowing heavily out there (I am in a ski resort so to be expected after all)!

Badger - whenever we have ventured down to Calis in the last month, the beach has generally looked clean. Tends to scruffy up a bit towards Sat though which may mean it is the bars and restaurants on the prom tending to their patch of beach. I don't know for sure. I saw some staff raking the beach yesterday and putting out a couple of sunbeds.

Can't wait until we are back out again at the end of May. Miss it so much
