My name is Sharon and I've just joined this forum. I'm a Brit currently living in Malaysia and considering to relocate to Turkey.
I've spent the last few months researching Turkey and reading this forum (and others) to learn more and get an idea of the different areas and communities. I have whittled down my choice to Fethiye
😎 ....all I need do now is book a flight and visit (oh,..and convince my husband).
I've been trying to find a small villa/cottage to rent for about a week in Uzumlu to see whether it's for us or not but can't seem to find anywhere...perhaps it's because the cold winter season is upon us ...I don't know,
This is exactly the time of year (oct - Feb) my husband wants to visit...his main reservation is that it gets too cold in winter, so that's why I'd like to go in the winter months, rent a small cozy villa for a week or so to see whether it's do-able for us.
I've been looking for a place with underfloor heating and maybe a log fire...but not only can I NOT FIND underfloor heating, I can't even find a small cottage/ villa .
If anyone can point me in the right direction it'll be much appreciated.
