Is it worth it?

Rather depends on the individual i suppose. For me, which a lot of large items i wish to get over to the apartment and love driving, adventures, experiencing the world, then YES! (Thats why i asked).

For the holiday maker, or person who don't like driving, hassle or adventures, then No!

I had a tow bar fitted bought a box trailer and filled it till it nearly burst the only issue I could envisage would be going through Turkish customs, I think we timed it right and if I did it again I wouldn’t fill the trailer up so much and try to go through customs around 6pm on a Saturday (that’s the time we went through and it was just by chance) there was hardly any traffic and the reason for not filling up is just in case we had to empty it.
