Resort information please.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has stayed in or around the resort of Kemer and any particular hotel that can be recommended, I ask this as we have decided that instead of flying into Dalaman then onto our house in Calis we will instead fly to Antalya hire a car and stop for a few days at a resort location along the D400 south coast rout then onto Calis for the rest of our stay. If anyone can help I would love to hear from you.

Personally, I'd avoid Kemer as it's a very commercial resort catering mainly for Germans and Russians. I'd go further along the coast to Kas or Kalkan.

I haven’t been to Kemer but a friends view was it is a “****hole”,but he isn’t a travel writer 😂

It's all a bit man made down that end. Like Belek, with its lovely Roman remains in the town centre. Who knew the Romans had fibreglass

As above, come further along the coast, Kas is lovely for a few days.

Having done that same route last year, we spent a couple of nights in Kalkan & another in Patara

The last time I was there all the shops were priced in Euros and they were reluctant to accept Turkish Lira. Needless to say we purchased nothing.

We have now abandoned plan A and have now chosen the safe bet of plan B  Starting with our house in Calis then on to Icmeler for 4 nights Dalyan for 2 nights and finally back to our house in Calis…can’t wait.
